Syndicate

What is a Syndicate?

In real estate, a syndicate is when a group of investors pool their money together to invest in real estate. Similar to a REIT, syndicates allow investors to be silent, passive partners who earn the rewards of a portfolio or property without the work required. Dissimilar from a REIT, property investors directly invest into the property itself rather than buy liquid shares of the property. The investment is not liquid and may have minimum hold times of several years.
