Physical cards

What are physical cards?

Physical cards payment cards issued by a bank to help customers easily spend money. Usually, they're plastic but they can be metal or wooden as well. Physical debit cards are usually linked to a checking account or demand deposit account (DDA) and, upon authorization, can spend the money immediately at retailers that accept the card.

Physical cards come in credit and debit options. Nophin offers physical debit cards that are linked to your property investing bank account.

What are some features of a physical debit card?

There are many features of a physical debit card that independently come together to verify the card is legitimately issued by the financial institution:

  • Card number
  • Magnetic strip
  • PIN code
  • CVC
  • EMV chip
  • Works with a card network like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover

Depending on your bank, you may also be able to add the physical debit card to your mobile wallet. Nophin's physical debit cards are compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
