I had zero intention of writing another post tonight but after that fantastic victory, how can I not write WHOOOO FREAKIN HOO!!! I'm so amped about that victory, that the following post may become completely incomprehensible when I wake up tomorrow morning and re-read it!
Where to even begin? Jamie Moyer, who's been a stalwart all season gets knocked out early. The Mets catch a giant break when they don't call Beltran out at 3rd being hit by a batted ball in fair territory, which is followed by a 3 run HR by Tatis. The Phils fight back from a 0-7 deficit to win in extra innings...their 2nd extra inning, come from behind victory in 3 days. The bullpen pitching 10 innings of 1 run ball after Jamie's early exit to give the offense the chance it needed to make it count...and every reliever on the bench was used (Kendrick was warming up to come in the 14th if the Phils didn't win it). Jimmy freaking Rollins all the sudden deciding "Hey, I am the reigning MVP aren't I?" and playing like...
